In September 2025, Our Haunted Heritage went to British Columbia to investigate a historic site never accessible to ghost hunters before. Cottonwood House was a spot gold miners could stop, rest, recharge and feed their horses before continuing on to Barkerville, the bustling city along the Cariboo Gold Rush Trail.

During the 2-day investigation, the team uncovers ghostly activity at the interpretive centre, guest house, barn and inside the main house. There may be the ghosts of children looking to have play pranks … and someone (or some thing) that doesn’t want you talking to the ladies of the house.
